Pollution and climate issues are overwhelming, right? It's all too difficult and abstract to comprehend sometimes (all the time).

Our governments and politicians set certain goals and implement policies but it's crucial to bring it down to earth and consider the actions that can be taken individually. Because it's our individual actions that count the most.

It's so common to think "How can we REALLY make a difference? What's the point?!"

At Skraldejagt, our strategy is to think global and inspire local action. Acting locally urges people to take action in their own communities and cities all while considering the health of the planet as a whole.

In conjunction with environmental innovation and policy, local action is the most effective way to create long-lasting, sustainable change. We can't tackle global issues overnight, but starting in one place and making a change locally is often the most practical and successful way to make a long-lasting difference, and it will create a ripple effect to other cities and communities around the world to do the same.

We want to challenge the stigma around trash plogging and show people just how fun, EMPOWERING, and exciting it can be to make a difference in your local community. Not only are you cleaning up the city, but it's a great way to learn more about trash issues and inspire others to take part as well. It also gets you outside in the fresh air and sunshine on an average day in lockdown so it's a win-win-win.
